Artwork

I specialise in botanical work, and was one of contributors to the Mitchell Beazley Pocket Guide of Trees.

My artwork of ‘Crab apples at the RHS Garden Hyde Hall’ was awarded a Silver Medal in the 2015 Royal Horticultural Society Botanical Art show.  While the time allowed between exhibitions is normally 5 years, due to Covid, the 2020 show, in which I had a place, was delayed for a year. In the 2021 show, which was hosted by the Saatchi Gallery, my artwork of ‘Tomatoes: fruit and flower development’ was awarded a Gold medal.

I produce line artwork used in flyers, posters, magazines and books, and I contribute to a website, parishpump.co.uk, that provides articles and illustrations for people across the world who produce church magazines (including England, Scotland and Ireland, the UK, Kentucky, Tenerife, Brazil, the Outer Hebrides, Ypres, Rome, Bern, Bangkok, Ankara, Kowloon, Gibraltar, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Borneo and China).

I designed the cover artwork for the new edition of Northumbria Community’s Celtic Daily Prayer – The journey begins, and its companion volume Farther up and farther in, published by HarperCollins.  I also drew the section divider artwork.  Also available are the ‘spin-off’s – the Jesse Tree Series of readings for Advent, which was produced as an activity pack, and a colouring book, both available from the Northumbria Community website.

The Northumbria Community online shop also sells some of my greetings card designs.
